The works here are drawn with ink on paper, usually smooth bristol. I use various different pens including sometimes a regular ballpoint. Generally the methods are either stipple (dots) or line blending. One of these drawings can take up to 200 hours of work, and may take a year or more for me to complete. I always have more than one in work, and will often put one aside to “percolate” while I shift my focus to something else. This truly is a labor of love –one must gain the rewards from the process, not the product.
